Some veteran grandpa pulled out a machine gun during the family BBQ and shot it down

#I was tempted to tag this with ‘whoever died in that crash was a nazi so good’ before#but now that someone else added that it was some nazi idiot in a fake plane I’ll say it!

a) the plane belonged to a historical society that also owns replica WWII-era planes that aren’t Nazi-affiliated.  this particular plane is actually a more recent American model painted to look like a Luftwaffe plane, except for the notable fact that it lacks any swastikas, in an attempt to make clear the group’s lack of actual Nazi affiliation

b) the pilot survived
